About

BEESTIG REPRESENTS YOUR GROUP OF FRIENDS

…and that is what makes the brand accessible for everyone. Next time you hang out with your friends, take a look around you:

• Which one of them is the jock that’s always in the gym?
• Which one of your friends is the one who likes to just go with the flow?
• Who’s your friend that has all the business ideas?
• And which character are you?

Every group of friends has different characters, that’s what makes your group so unique and special.

EXPRESS YOUR CHARACTER

At Beestig we believe that every group of friends could welcome any character and we want to help your friends express who they are through animal inspired, sustainable fashion that proudly carries the ‘made in Belgium’ tag!

All designs are hand drawn with coloured pencil and we’re pretty proud of that too!

ORIGINS

The word ‘beestig’ is derived from the Dutch word ‘beest’, which means beast, or animal.

The brand was founded in 2018 by Bram ‘El Plancho’ and Viktor ‘Milmots’.

Both of the founders’ heritage lies in the province of West-Flandres in Belgium. There, ‘beestig’ also has another meaning in the local dialect, namely ‘awesome’.

ANIMAL CARE

Beestig cares about animals – duh!

We try to make an impact, however small it may be. For now, we are walking dogs at the animal shelter. But we’re trying to come up with ways to do more!

Here’s a fun fact for you: the design for Dogus Tranquillus, the chiller of the group, is based on the labrador that was adopted by the founder right before it was left at the shelter.

PLANET CARE

We also care about the planet and strive to leave minimal impact.

All textile used is organic or biologic, meaning no chemicals and pesticides were used to produce and process the cotton in our clothing.

Every piece of clothing is OEKO-TEX100 certified, so we can guarantee high and effective product safety!

PEOPLE CARE

The people that handle our clothing are equal to you and us.

We therefore exclusively use Fair Wear Foundation textile. This is an independent non-profit organisation that works to improve conditions for workers in garment factories.
